January 20, 2015 Board Meeting Agenda Item #11 Title ENTRY OF FINAL ORDER Description The School Board must enter a Final Order in the case of School Board v. O'Connell.  Administrative Law Judge Lynne A. Quimby-Pennock entered a Recommended Order recommending that Mr. O'Connell's employment be terminated.  Subsequently, Mr. O'Connell resigned his employment.  The Proposed Final Order adopts the Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law in the Recommended Order and finds the termination moot as Mr. O'Connell's employment has already ended. Recommendation That the Final Order in the case of School Board of Sarasota County, Florida v. Douglas S. O'Connell, Case No. 14-2339TTS, be adopted as presented.
